Ibiza, so much more than expected

Spain has so many stunning beaches I never even considered Ibiza as a destination. You see, Ibiza is so famous for its party scene that I just wasn’t interested. However when I saw a return flight to Ibiza going for 20euros it didn’t take long for my love of bargains to overrun my aversion to what I pictured Ibiza to be.  And wow was I in for a surprise!

Alhambra…

I started this piece over a year ago and then forgot it in the drafts folder. So now I’m trying to revive this blog it only seems appropriate to do so by posting it as it is, unfinished.

If a picture is worth a thousand words then what does it mean that I took over 300 photos of the Alhambra? Am I an awful photographer? (Please try to be nice when answering that!) or is the Alhambra just something that can’t be captured by word, photos or videos? A place so full of history it begs you to walk down its paths?

Daydreaming on a bus from Madrid to Granada

Earlier today I was sitting on a bus daydreaming and absorbing nature as it unfurled outside. In a brief moment of energy and inspiration I whipped out my laptop from my backpack and jotted down my thoughts as they occurred. Not really a great composition as my thoughts seemed to wander here and there and it doesn’t really end, I just stopped writing because I got dizzy… but I thought I’d share it with you anyway 🙂
